In my effort to add more “boring” to this blog, I give you this tidbit. Today, after work, I picked up some walking shoes I’d ordered from the good people of Metro Run and Walk in Springfield.

My new shoes are Brooks Addiction Walkers (in brown) which are, according to the salespeople, perfect for my flat, over-pronating feet. And yes, they do feel good.

But, it turns out size 13 (ladies…), width double-E (ladies…) walking shoes that are nice and stiff to prevent ankle turning, yeah, they are not the best for pedal feel in a Honda Civic.

That was a fun drive home.
