Oh So Boring…

The trials and tribulations of a man and his life. Tribulations, that's an odd word. Let's blog about it…

Picking New Frames

Went to the eye doctor this morn, and that means it’s time to consider new frames.  As I’m hopeless at this, I thought I’d present some options I tried on today.  I apologize for the crappy photos but, well, it’s an iPhone in an optician’s mirror and fluorescent filled space.  The pics are after the cut!

First up are some Calvin Klein frames:

Possible Frames: Calvin Klein

These are black, but I could get them in gray and brown as well, I do believe. Quite angular which I think I like with my potato of a head.

Second are some Guess? rimless frames:

Possible Frames: Guess

These are brown and, of course, semi-rimless. I’m kinda digging the semi-rimless as well as the brown. I’m thinking, no matter what, I might go brown with the glasses this time.

Third are some Manhattan frames:

Possible Frames: Manhattan

These are similar to the CK frames. A bit cheaper, which is nice, but not quite as angular as well.

Finally some plastic Bellagio (?) frames (sorry for the UPCLOSE pic):

Possible(?) Frames: Bellagio

I’m not the biggest fan of thick plastic frames, but I knew my sis would like these.

Well, folks, what do you think?

i have to say i like the first pair the most with the rimless a close second.

again, the two cents in my brain!

  2. I vote for the Calvin Klein frames, although the last pair are kind of funky, and I do like them as well. Somehow I think, though, that they may not match your personality as well as the first ones, though.
