Eft!
I saw an eft today while I was taking a walk around at lunch. Just thought it was cool.
Also cool: Im trying to walk more so I bought a pedometer. According to it, I did 20 minutes of aerobic walking at lunch. Yay!
ETA: After an evening walk, today I walked 3012 aerobic steps. Thats 34 minutes of aerobic walking. Overall, about 4500 steps. But most were aerobic. Double yay!

An eft is the terrestrial, adolescent phase of a newt.
It’s also a crossword clue par excellence. It seems to be in every 1 out of every 4 or 5 crosswords since it’s a nice, small, word with e’s and t’s.
how can you tell the difference that it is an adolescent and not an adult?
funny, it’s never been any of my crosswords. I think the crosswords in the daily free paper come from newsweek. Theyre a little easy.
