Wherein I have a day…
Well, today had some ups and downs. At work I find out that a leak I thought was taken care of long ago has returned. Having water near my big electric computer always makes me pause. So…boo.
Then I get off early, yay! To take my car in for an oil change. Boo. While there I learn my next time is my 30000 mile time…which is a good $500. Super boo. Plus, it’s near time for a timing chain service…$700. Double plus un-yay! Oh, and guess whose tires were nearly shot and 6 years old…yep.
So, I bought some tires and got to come home $500 poorer. But, I then learn that a paper of mine has been published. Yay!
Up and down day. All through it, I’ve had this feeling of loneliness as well. Dunno why. I’ve been thinking on past friends who drifted away…haven’t heard from one in about 3, 4 months. Made me wonder if I did anything. Ah well. Not always my fault!
