Obsess over what? A job interview on Monday. I’m flying up to Boston at 6:30 AM (eep) for an all-day interview at Boston University. I’ve never had an all-day interview, let alone one this big. Eep.
In fact, being a student for so long, my last interview was…a while ago.
I even bought a sport coat for the interview thinking a full-on suit is a bit much for an IT-ish job at a University. Men in dark suits always seem to stick out at universities (law and business schools aside).
Oh well, back to obsessing…
Just had myself a nice turkey lunch. Turkey breast roasted in the oven, cornbread stuffing, ye olde green bean casserole, mashed taters, kadu bouranee, rolls…mmm… Yah, it was good and I am feeling full.
Of course, with the meal comes the cleanup…boo. Oh well, you get to burn off a few calories with that.
I wish I could have been with my family or with friends, but sometimes–okay, usually–it doesn’t happen.
Folks, I just want to remind you that the most important thing you can ever ask yourself if you decide to move is this:
“Will I be living in a battleground state?”
If you can answer “Yes” to this, you might want to reconsider that move.
My name is and I approve this message.
